What IBEW Contractors Have To Say

Nello Electric

"The IBEW changed my business. When I was an open shop I couldn’t afford paying benefits or fringes or retirement to the employees. Signing the agreement gave me the opportunity of offering benefits."

Caltek Electric

"I started in the electric industry with the IBEW.  I’ve always heard good things about the IBEW, and specifically because I was in it. I was very happy. I wanted to start my own business and stay involved with the IBEW."

Advanced Utility Solutions

"We’re primarily a traffic control company that provides flaggers. Working with the IBEW has made a lot of processes easier. I know we have the IBEW to lean on when we need employees. "

O'Connell Electric

"The IBEW is great to work with from a contractor’s perspective because they have the spirit of collaboration. We can go to them when bidding a project, and work together on a plan for building it."

Grow Your Business With

The IBEW

The IBEW has the highest completion rate for electrical workers in the electrical construction industry. Our goal is to help them succeed.

IBEW programs are guided by the Electrical Training Alliance NJATC, a committee which is made up of an equal number of contractor representatives and IBEW representatives. Their job is to ensure the success of the training programs and are available to help if questions or challenges arise. The committee is also responsible for selecting apprentices from the pool of applicants.

When the training program is complete, YOU - the contractor, receive the best-trained, most highly-skilled professional electrical workers in the electrical construction industry.
